The problem with this book, though, is that it's as deep as a puddle.The writing here is nothing more than one opinion after another (after another), without any exploration, depth or supporting evidence. If this book had the same overall message, but offered some supporting evidence, I would say it's worth everyone's time. But there's really not much here. It's the most shallow form of self-help.There is interesting emerging science related to many of the topics explored in this book -- like the use of social media and body image. It's strange that someone with a PhD (which I will admit that I wondered if said degree wasn't mail-order after reading this book) would not invoke.Overall, this book was a wasted opportunity; but as I said, Chapter 5 should be memorized.

I got this book from the library and enjoyed it so much I ended up buying a copy for myself and my sister. This book brings back many memories of taking the bus downtown with my grandmother to shop for back to school clothes, Easter outfits, etc. We would always finish up with a meal at the Shillito's restaurant of Seven Hills sandwiches and ice cream cake roll before getting back on the bus. I would also take the bus with my girlfriends to spend the day downtown. It jogged my memories about the different places down there and was good to know the history of and the passing of great old places. The pictures were great. I'm very happy with this purchase and my sister said it brought tears to her eyes when I sent her copy as a birthday gift. Thanks for a great experience.

Not only are there great anecdotes about the tea rooms, but wonderful photos & even favorite recipes from the good old days. Brought back some go I don't memories.

Bought for my wife as I thought she would enjoy it. I also checked it out. Super interesting content and some amazing recipes. Nice history and photographs about Cincinnati in a bygone time. (a lot of names will be recognized by folks from the 50's - 70's)

I am a pre k teacher, and this book is a welcome addition to my classroom. The children loved hearing the story, and learning all about dinosaurs like the Bracciasaurus, triceratops, Spinasaurus, t-Rex, and stegosaurus. We then made our own dinosaur books, dinosaurs and city complete with painted rocks, river,grass for the herbivores, and mountains. My only wish was that characters came with the story. I started purchasing books with characters, and when it's story time I introduce the character and state that he/ she is sharing a special story today. Then I bring the character to life, and have the character choose a friend and that child holds the character throughout the story. If I have more than one character, I ask each character. The children love it, and it makes story time fun. During the day the story and character(s) are in the classroom library for the children during quiet reading times. This story is definitely a must have if you are learning about dinosaurs as the author explains it in an age appropriate manner.

My son adores this book. Has not tired of it, even after reading it every single night for months now. I bought it because we ran out of renewals at the library and I think this one will be in our reading rotation for a long time. At 2.5 years old, he knows his dinos and it very interested in fossils/bones/skeletons because of this book. It's a good length and it isn't scary so I don't have to skip any parts because he's so young.

This is a fantastic book, but it is a bit costly. I used it for a lesson for my three year olds in their preschool room, and they were enthralled. What I like most is that it can serve two purposes. The brief and humorous poem is perfect for three year olds. The rest of the information written on the bottom of the page is appropriate for older children. So this book is written for children of all ages (even me!). The illustrations are the bomb!

Cute story and this book can be read on two different levels. The main story rhymes and is simple enough for preschoolers. The sidebar text adds details for the older reader.

Great Dino facts. But the "story," the few words on each page isn't that great. My son still loves it.

Our story time kids here at the park LOVED this one. Afterwards, we dug up dinosaur skeletons in our sand pit. A hit!

This has been informative, however, there are several versions and this was NOT the one I needed for my class. Be sure to double check your ISBN numbers and note that this one is "BRIEF." It does not include the last chapter on Outlook. The one that does is "INTRODUCTORY." There is also one with the same title noted as "INTERMEDIATE." So, always triple check the ISBN number and not just the title. This is also a book for someone who has very little Office experience. The steps are broken down so far that they seem tedious at times.

Informative and helpful, but not catered towards Mac users. Still works, but there are instructions that don't pertain to Mac users and a bit of searching must be done. I just Googled what I was looking for and multiple blogs popped up on the hard to find or non-existent items. Otherwise great product. Will be having my kids go through the activities over the summer!

Purchased for a class. Good price. Fairly comprehensive. Learned a few things even though I've used Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for years. Also includes Access. Only disappointment is that Publisher wasn't part of the class the book was used for. Also had to purchase a 1.5" 3-ring binder for it.

Ugh. I guess I missed the fine print. I bought paperback and it is literally a pile of papers. I created a binder out of book rings but the pages still rip and it is very hard to study with. DO NOT BUY!!!

Came in without damage, and as expected. Of course it isn't the most durable because it's loose leaf, the paper's thin and the book requires a binder, but it'll survive as long as you don't aggressively turn the pages and such.
