I just received The Berenstain Bears: Easter Sunday. I have to say I love this children’s book and will be purchasing more Berenstain Bear books in the future. I absolutely love the Easter message in this book. It is perfect for children and is a very simple message. It allows a parent to elaborate more or leave it as is. There is also a section that explains Easter eggs. It does so in a way that no one is condemned but also explains it isn’t in the Bible. There is an alternative activity illustrated in the book that would be great to teach the kids in church, the treasure hunt, but you will have to read it yourself to see what it is. I believe many different things could be applied and stories taught using this activity.I highly recommend this book for small children and young readers. The illustrations are so beautiful and the book is very nice quality. I received this book at no charge from www.booklookbloggers.com in exchange for an honest review. I love it!!!!!

I wasn't sure what the story would be, but I ended up enjoying it and agreeing with how it handled "the true meaning of Easter" with my 3 year old. We are missionaries, so we are used to teaching our child about Jesus and we aren't always satisfied with how some books treat holidays but I appreciated this one. I was satisfied with how the book explains the easter bunny and eggs. It wasn't judgmental towards families that practice those things, and it didn't try too hard to connect them to real Easter either. It was a casual, age appropriate handling of Easter being both (ultimately) spiritual but also that we live in a secular culture that has added some things to our cultural Easter. I recommend this book if your child enjoys the Berenstein Bears, but not if you are looking primarily for a great explanation of Christian Easter. I included two pictures from about 4-5 pages that deal with eggs/bunny/easter explanation, but didn't want to include more because of copyright. Hope they help.

I absolutley adore the Berenstain Bears collections as do both of my children! I bought the Easter Sunday book as part of my childrens Pre Easter gift so as we start to celebrate Easter with plastic eggs & the easter bunny my children understand the true meaning of easter. In a very sweet manner, perfect for toddlers.

The book has plenty of black and white pictures with chapters about the information regarding the Dust Bowl era, the California migration, the Great Depression, and about life during this difficult time with the Dust Bowl period.The Dust Bowl came about when billions of tons of loose soil blew across the Southern Plains in the United States. The Dust Bowl or Black Blizzard storms were disastrous not only to ecology but to the survivors, residents, and people in the Southern Plains. Many suffered and died from Dust Bowl Pneumonia.The book is well-designed with a good layout for young readers or those who don't know much about the Dust Bowl. This book is a good, solid introduction.

A very well written, gritty little slice of American history. If you even wondered why people like me don't like the term "Okie", this book will explain it. If you can read this book and not feel deeply for those folks who went through the Dust Bowl of the early 30's, you have a granite heart. Highly recommended, especially for young people who are used to having it all right now.

We don't hear much about this in schools, so it is a great history of the dust bowl and the impact it had on our country.

A quick overview of the Dust Bowl and it's effects on America in the 1930's. Excellent book for synopsis of cause and effect of Dust Bowl. Excellent photo's.

Michael L. Cooper's description of the twin tragedy in the book Dust to Eat doesn't just explain a trying time in our own American history, but with the start of the crash of the stock market kicking in the Great Depression that lead to the Dust Bowl which consumed the great plains. This story tells us that misfortune can happen to anyone at any given time. The characters in this book are not fictional; they are real stories about our past ancestors. There is a quote in the book that really caught my attention that made me feel like I could really feel what people were going through "It fell across the city, like a curtain of black rolled down, we thought it was our judgment, we thought it was our doom". To me that seems like our ancestors did not think that they would last through the storm. While this book gives great detail about the story it provides visual photographs from the Library of Congress combined with captions and descriptions of how it is related to the passage. In the back of the book are other sources of interest that relate to prior during, and post events in American history. Overall this book was enlightening and very well written. Michael L. Cooper provided a well described era that invoked personal opinions and tragic facts. I would recommend this book to anyone who desires to know what our forefathers went through to give us the life we have now.

A fantastic read and a must-have for every Spurs fan. This book will give you such a deep appreciation for Poch and his team, and the fantastic work they're doing at the club.

Interesting man for sure. However, the book seems a bit helter skelter in its use of anecdotes thrown in at practically every other page. What is meant to be a diary over 2016/17, takes almost half the book just to reach October.Personally I don't think the diary form works. When we all know Pocchetino did not write this himself it is a bit awkward to read passages like "Now I need to get to bed", or "I am starting this diary at..."So 3 stars because the content is very interesting, but the way it's written and edited is far from smooth.

A must read if you are a fan of Pochettino. I could already tell he was a wonderful person. Everything in this book confirmed it. This is a heartfelt read into his mind. As he shares about his life and experiences, you see the human side of Mauricio and how he is the way he is. I was particularly giddy when reading about how he works with all the Spurs players and it helped me understand more of what and how much goes into managing everything in the club.

I expected this to be written in Guillem Balague's voice. Instead, I got Poch's. Poch's journal entries are nice, but honesty must prevail. He is a great manager and an average writer.Guillem's writing skills are much more apparent with his novels about Liverpool winning the Champions League and Pep Guardiola's biography.

Awesome insight into how pochettino is thinking and how he connects with his players. Was fun to read and even a bigger fan of him now!

An amazing read for a lover of football and a die-hard Spurs fan. So good to read about the way he thinks and his passion for people and the Beautiful Game.He's magic you knowww!!

Excellent book. The God of the Qu'ran (which, as a former practitioner of Islam, I HAVE read!) thinks like a warlord. That's because he IS a warlord (Mohammed!). Mohammed travelled extensively as a young man and encountered many Jews and Christians. According to several sources, much more erudite than myself, he then reconstituted both religions to create the Qu'ran. Of course, to give his book any teeth, he had to write verses detailing the horrors of hell if one didn't conform. And then he decided to add that if you leave Islam, you can be killed. Smart man. He, thus, accomplished his goal of uniting the tribes and solidifying his power. Was Mohammed a prophet or a wily warlord? Ask yourself. The Qu'ran is now the foundation for the cultures of many countries...mostly failed states where you can't do anything without bribery. Sadly, Muslims are not allowed to question or think for themselves. It is a few rare souls like Wafa and Hirsi Ali who have shown great bravery in voicing their concerns and opinions regarding Islam which I consider not a religion, but an ideology, on par with Nazism.

About the author’s credentials: Dr. Wafa Sultan, MD, is a Syrian-born Muslim who relocated, some years ago, to the United States. Her field of medical specialization is psychiatry. Dr. Sultan is perhaps best known for her critique of Islam - initially, as a consequence of a debate she had with a Muslim cleric that first aired on al-Jazeera television in 2006. Interestingly, TIME magazine voted Dr. Sultan one of the world's 100 most influential people in that same year.About this book: While the title of the book may appear rather ‘negative’, even foreboding, it is important to realize that Sultan objects not so much to god(s) generally as much as she objects to the god ‘revealed’ by Islamism. All in all, Dr. Sultan has written a compelling book that sheds light on the subject of Islam - as seen through the eyes of a Muslim woman who is well versed in modern-day psychology.Summing up: One of the more important/informing moments in “A God Who Hates” occurs when Sultan shares her view that it is the Islamic cultural jihadists, as opposed to the terrorists, who represent the most serious long-term threat to the U.S. IMO, placing "A God Who Hates" on one's 'to-do' list, if for no other reason than to grasp Sultan’s thinking on this last point, is cause enough to read her book.

Clearly and intelligently written.Mrs. Sultan makes the very good point that Allah is a god without power. It never acts on its own, but must depend on the doings of mere men, angry men at that. Angry because they only have their own human strength to defend their god; and not the other way around.Mrs. Sultan also documents the devastation that islamization does inside a person and she confess that the scars and some of the damages will live with her to her last breath.A courageous book by one who knows and can think for herself. Thank you.

This book gives me an understanding of Muslims and Islam that I did not have before. It is so hard to understand why these extremists want to kill us. It gave me an understanding of the San Bernardino shooters. Honestly, in reading this I tend to think that Donald Trump is right about not letting any more Muslims into the country for a while. They present a good face but many of them in their hearts truly hate us. If you read the book you will find out about this. It is amazing to me that someone this bright and accomplished came out of this culture. Hirsi Ali is another one who saw the evils in the culture and came out of it. They are both in danger because of being so outspoken. That confirms the evil of the Muslim religion if you ask me. There are some reformists, but I would want to know their hearts.

I believe that what this author is conveying through her writing is an invitation to look more deeply into the minds of Muslims. She did, in fact, live the life of a child/women growing up in at atmosphere of fear and control. If women growing up in the United States even for a moment think your lives are so oppressed, read this story and many others like this, and then see where your gratitude lies. I gave this book 5 stars, not because I think it was so well written, but by the story that put it in print. All people involved in making decisions for our country, the United States, should read this book. Stop being so politically correct and wake up to what is here and ahead.

Dr. Sultan mixes words of wisdom and experience with words of caution. I have read many books decrying one religion or another, but not until this one was I encouraged to see, hear, and feel the human side of the arguement. The humanity in Dr. Sultanas writing minimizes the scientific and historical discussions and replaces them with gut wrenching reality; real world attention rather than academic condescension.

Author Sultan knows she may even have signed her own death sentence by publishing her opinions, yet she is completely focused on an intellectually honest analysis of the problem rather than espousing any particular replacement. In many ways this gives her even more credence. Her love of the United States is effusive and infectious. We could use a lot more citizens with her understanding of American exceptionalism and her appreciation for how easily we could end up losing it.

I've worked on many classic Japanese bikes so I like to think that I had a pretty good idea about rebuilding and restoring them. This book was a really good read, better than I expected. For me, it was good to see what I was doing right. Some positive reinforcement never hurt anyone, right? The book also gave me tips and tricks that will help keep things organized and move my projects along faster. Just to be clear, the book isn't a service manual although the author does provide insight into technical and mechanical issues. Would I recommend this book? Yes, it's a good book to help figure out where to start, where to go next and how to finish.

If you are into older Japanese motorcycles (like me!) this would be an excellent addition to your bookshelf. Color photos throughout and well written text. If you own a 60's-80's Japanese motorcycle you will certainly be referring to this book often for the excellent tips and instruction.

Love this book, very detailed. I have never restored a motorcycle, but after studying this book I feel like I am ready!

Lots of good tips though not brand specific. I'm currently restoring a 1981 Yamaha xs400 and the info in the book is very helpful.

The Quick: This book is great for all incoming corporate associates and for anyone who has to deal with contracts on a regular basis. The writing is clear, concise but yet detailed enough to give you an idea of what you may face in the real world.Why Listen to Me: I've practiced as a Corporate Associate at a Vault top 10 law firm in NY and the best firm in New Jersey. I've practiced in Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups. I've also reviewed, analyzed and summarized countless contracts. I have drafted some ancillary agreements but wanted to bolster my drafting know-how and this book was perfect to help me do that.The Examples: Some other reviewers have complained that the examples are skewed towards debt financing and real estate agreements, but I didn't find that to be the case. I thought they were varied enough to be able to apply whatever principle that was being exemplified to real life situations, but then again, I've done this before to some degree so it was easier for me to envision how certain principles applied to what I had seen at work and what I may see later.The Recommendation: If I was a partner in charge of training associates, I would make this mandatory reading. Although, I have the benefit of 3.5 years of experience and many concepts were already familiar to me, had I read this book prior to practicing, it would have prevented many mistakes and allowed me a greater chance to excel from the get-go. Charles M. Fox (the author) is a great writer and he does an amazing job of explaining complex concepts and making it accessible to everyone. The book is not long but covers a great amount of material. It is also indexed well so you can jump to any section you wish. I have already marked, underlined and annotated this book on pretty much every page. I am certain I will return to it many times as I continue to practice corporate law.Disclaimer: I did not receive this product in exchange for a positive review and I do not know the author personally. I am simply sharing my thoughts on what I think is an excellent primer for those practicing in this arena.

Great read. Surprisingly makes an area that was not my favorite in law school quite interesting--I really can't put it down and want to keep learning. Succinct to teach you a lot of information quickly, but very readable and never feels dense. Written clearly and well but stays away from random anecdotes and fluff that I find distracting in some books. Guide to how it really works to draft it, with an eye to later litigation implications of certain approaches, but not the litigation-oriented/how do we sue under a contract approach from law school. Sticks to solid examples and logical points for different principles. (My background is a lawyer new to transactional drafting.) Highly recommended. Is just what the title says.

As a non-lawyer who drafts contracts, this book has been very helpful. I am going to suggest it to my manager as training materials for my position in the future. It is a little tough to get through chapter 2, but chapters 3 and 4 have been much easier (I'm still reading through it currently). I will be keeping this at my desk as a reference tool.

I am a law school student who plans on pursuing a career as a transaction lawyer. This is by far the best book I have read on contract drafting, review and strategy. It covers basic contract structure, as well as guides you through potential interpretations of provisions, expectations, and the exchange of drafts with opposing counsel. It is very well written and easy to follow. It covers many areas quickly, without losing depth. I would recommend this book as an excellent resource for both new and seasoned attorneys, even litigators who want to understand more about contract disputes.

Easy to read, very informative. I used this as a supplement to my textbook and it was a great help to me.

This book is a quick read but it really helped me understand some of the basics in transactional drafting.

Author gives a compehensible guideline not only how to write a contract than on which points to pay attention during negotiations.

Very good and useful guides. There are useful examples and sentences we are use directly when writing contracts.
